La-La Matcha Latte ~

Some days, you just need a pick-me-up.

Here’s one of my favorite morning drinks for just that purpose, plus some added benefits.

Amped-up Matcha Latte

~1/2 tsp pure matcha powder
~1/2 tsp ginger powder
~1 tsp turmeric powder
~1/2 scoop vanilla collagen powder
~1/4 tsp vitamin C powder
~1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
~1 cup water

Iced latte: Blend it all together on low-med power, pour over ice and enjoy.

Hot latte: Blend everything as above, minus the water, add to a mug. Boil water then pour into mug and sip.

Benefits can include:

  • Matcha: concentrated green tea, chock full of antioxidants
  • Ginger: supportive for digestion + detox
  • Turmeric: wonderful anti-inflammatory
  • Collagen: essential for the health of your tissues, including skin health
  • Vitamin C: synergistic with collagen for tissue health, antioxidant power

This superstar drink is best when sipped on away from meals, for optimal absorption of nutrients.
